Do you have a graduating senior or are you planning to leave the county?
All seniors who are graduating or student's leaving the county will not be able to transfer their WCPS Google account files into a personal account directly. However, there is a process for transferring files from a WCPS Google account into either a personal Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box account. All students and staff have access to Google Takeout for the transfer of those files.
On a WCPS-issued device, students can only choose option 1. However, if they have a non-WCPS device, either option is available. For staff, option 1 or 2 is available.
Note: If students choose the method to copy the files directly to another Google Drive they will be asked to login to that drive during the process.
This transfer action needs to be done by June 17th 2024 or departure date from the county.
